The way one speaks English has nothing to do with one's political ability. Most Italians actually do sound like him, and I must say, most of us native speakers find it "cute". These two videos should be an incentive for practicing your English!

Do you really find it cute? I don't like it at all..than, you're right that has nothing to do with the political ability but I'm on side :D

Yes, I do think it's cute.
I think it's great that he tries to speak English, which gets harder as you get older. I don't think he has time to study English. He probably just reads what someone else has written and tries his best. He seems pleased with himself and happy that he was able to say those few things to Bush.
He is learning though. I have seen later videos where he is joking in English with other foreigners.

I'm not sure I understand your last statement, "but I'm on side."
