Understand the different meanings of LIKE.  
Read the examples below. 

What's the weather like?
             It's warm and sunny.
What was the weather like yesterday?
             It was cold and windy.
What's the weather like in (your city)?
             The temperature is quite mild. It's usually sunny, but can also be very windy.

What's he like?   
             He's smart, sweet and very funny! 
Are you more like your mother or your father?
            I'm more like my mother.

What does he look like? 
            He is tall and muscular, and has black hair and green eyes.
Do you look like your mother? 
        No, I look like my father. 

What do you like doing on weekends?  
           I like going out for a pizza with my friends.
What do you like to do in your free time?
          I like to go out with my friends.

What does he like to eat? 


           He likes to eat spaghetti with meatballs.

What would you like for lunch?   
             I'd like some soup and a sandwich.
