Write a letter to

Santa Claus

What would you like him to bring you this year?
Follow these tips to write a better letter.

1. Get in the Christma spirit. Put on some Christmas music!

2. Sign into your blog.

3. Start your letter with a greeting:  "Dear Santa," or "Dear Santa Claus,"

4. Let Santa know who's writing the letter. Of course he knows who you are, but you need to tell him who is writing the letter because he gets so many letters every day.

5. Ask Santa how he's been. Santa only hears from you once a year, so before you start asking for things you would like, it's polite to ask how he and Mrs. Claus are doing or how the reindeer and elves have been.

6. Tell him how good you've been this year. Tell Santa Claus about some of the good things you've done this year. Have you been nice to your sister or brother? Have you helped your parents by doing your chores? Santa already knows these things because he sees you when you're sleeping and knows when you're awake, but he likes to be reminded of the reasons you should be on his "Nice List."

7. Politely let him know what you'd like. Try to keep your list to the two or three things that you want the most.
8. Thank Santa for being so kind. Say something such as, "Thank you, Santa, for bringing so much joy to kids like me." or "Thanks, Santa, for bringing me toys every year." Santa loves people who are polite.
9. Close your letter with your signature such as "Sincerely," or "Love," or "Best wishes," and sign your name.

10. Add a decoration (image) to your letter and post it for everyone to see.

Hey Santa! What's up?
It's always Gabi from Island!
It's been a long year without having news from you.. Yes, I know i didn't give you any news, too. Anyways, how's Miss Claus doing? Hope she's fine! Was the doctor able to operate Rudolph's nose cancer? I hope so.
You know I've been such a good person this year! I've been arguing with a very few people.. like twelve or thirteen (you know it's a good score for me, don't ya?).
Than, I was thinking that the thing about "he sees you when you're sleeping and knows when you're awake" it's a bit creepy, don't you think you may stop stalking people, dude?
Going to the point, your present last year wasn't so beautiful, I mean, a Barbie?! C'mon bro I'm eighteen now.. I don't know what present I want this year, maybe you can send me some money and than i can decide how to use them..
However, thank you for coming up to this island every year, it's very kind from you, I love you man!
P.S: I'm sorry if I made some mistake in english.. It will be difficult for you to use google translate for read it in finnish.
P.S2: I was joking about the barbie, I've always dreamt to have a SurgeonBarbie and the stuff included in the package were awesome!

Dear Gabi,
It's good to hear from you again this year. Mrs. Claus is fine. She is as chubby as ever, but I adore her! Luckily Rudolph was quick to heal, so he'll be ready to guide my sleigh on Christmas Eve.

It's good that you're arguing with fewer people. The question is whether you argue in a constructive way, or just for the sake of arguing.

I am happy you enjoyed the Barbie. I found out, through my "stalking," that the doll had some influence on your future plans. Is this still true?

Unfortunately, my elves can't make money. If they could, no one would be poor.

I can read English very well, but I am also very good at using Google Translator if necessary. I am a very crafty "dude." If you like, I can bring you some books to help with your English and can ask one of my elves to correct the mistakes you made in your letter.
I hope you will go to school more often in 2012.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas,
Santa
